Let's try to sort out the different versions of this fourth (and excellent) studio album by the Counting Crows.

Up to now, apparently 4 different versions of the CD exist...

Apparently many fans from the USA complained about the different versions of the CD and the fact that the US version would be the "poorest" one... Finally, the lucky owners of this version have one of the most interesting one... When you insert the CD in any computer (well in any CD-Player in a acomputer, don't try to insert it in the floppy disc drive!), you can access to the American Girls video and... to a Secret Site full of bonuses (videos, MP3s, etc...).

Then the international version (and therefore, the French one!).

Just like the other international versions, this CD contains no other bonus than the extra tracks. Only, this one, as usual for the CDS coming from this country, an additional booklet with all the lyrics, including the extra tracks + their translation in Japanese.

Different Promo versions of the album were available two months before the official release of Hard Candy, the first one which appeared on ebay was sold 340 US$

One of this promo version includes a second (different?) version of Miami + Going back to New-York (Mr Deeds Soundtrack)!
